Destroying security through interface design

Gnome is redoing the same error that Windows did ages ago, namely educating its users to just click 'OK' on whatever Gnome asks the user:

What application is asking me here permission? Permission to do what? Shall I say 'OK'? Shall I cancel? On what grounds? Or shall I tell Gnome not to bother begging me for permission with dialogs devoid of any basis for decision and allow whatever application to access my secrets whenever it feels like?

The expectations of the user are set now and the foundation is laid for the next big security incident wave to happen.

Actually, that problem has allready been reported a long time ago to both Ubuntu and Gnome itself.
